Netcomm have been in the Australian market for over 20 years and have been historically renowned for producing quality dial-up modems. Since the advent of Broadband they've produced a few clangers but the current range of products has the bugs sorted out and quality is once again their trademark. My experience with Netcomm has been quite positive on the technical side of things, with Netcomm personnel keen to show off new products to me and going well out of their way to solve any issues that come up. Customers sometimes report woeful technical support service over the phone, but I think that goes for all telephone support across the board anyway. (ie Some people get exactly what they need from someone who answers the phone in under a minute while other people report spending over an hour on hold only to speak to an idiot.)

Comments: A basic 802.11n wireless router with an ethernet WAN port to connect a separate Cable or ADSL modem plus support for USB 3G modems*. Only 2 LAN ports instead of the usual 4 so if you're expecting to connect more than 2 PCs via cables go for the 3G18Wn model or grab a separate switch. The 3G connection can be set up as a fail over or as the primary connection but load share is not featured.

Comments: A little travel router with support for USB 3G modems* as well as an ethernet WAN port for a Cable or ADSL modem. No LAN ports on this one so the only way a PC can connect to it is via the wireless link. (Correction: As Peter pointed out in the comments below, the WAN port can be configured to be a LAN port if desired)
The standout feature is its size (103mm x 76mm x 22mm) making it small enough to stash in the luggage while travelling, and that it can run on its built-in battery power for 2-5 hours which could be useful on buses and trains (or for grouchy teens in the back seat) when you need Internet to more than one PC. I wouldn't expect the wireless range to be huge but it should be a vast improvement over some of the similar bluetooth 3G routers getting around. Also, be aware the wireless standard utilised is "Wireless 150" which promises half the usual speeds of standard 802.11n (ie 150 mbps)
