Comments: The 7401VGPR3 replaces the 7401VGPM with a new case design and chipset. Features other than that remain largely the same and it remains one of the more cost effective modems with VoIP hardware built-in.
The main differences from the more expensive 7404 series modems with VoIP support are: only a single FXS port and it only supports one VoIP Service Provider (VSP) at a time.

New feature added October 09 is the ability to convert LAN Port 1 to an Ethernet WAN port. Either the ADSL or Ethernet WAN port can be selected as the primary connection or as a failover. Load sharing is not featured at this stage but may be added in a future firmware release
